Oracle EBS 12.2 8 New Features, Documentation & Software to Download

If you follow Steven Chan’s blog (If you don’t then you must) Oracle released EBS R 12.2.8 on 5th Oct 2018. Here are some of the things useful for Apps DBAs

Things Good To Know

• Oracle EBS R12.2.8 is currently available on My Oracle Support as Patch 26787767
• Document for the patch is available on My Oracle Support Note 2393248.1
• It is cumulative meaning it includes new updates and updates made available in one-off patches on 11.5.10, 12.0, 12.1.3 and prior 12.2 releases.
• The 12.2.8 patch must be applied on top of Oracle EBS Release 12.2.x.

Software to download:

1. Login to My Oracle Support, click here.
2. Download Oracle EBS 12.2 8 as Patch 26787767
3. There will be 10 files and you have to download all
4. Instructions for downloading and applying the patch are in the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.8 Readme, Doc ID 2393248.1
